• JABU Holds 8th Convocation Ceremony.

    No fewer than 566 students of Joseph Ayo Babalola University, Ikeji –Arakeji, will receive their degree certificates during the 8th Convocation ceremony of the institution scheduled to hold on Friday 19th January 2018.

    According to the Vice Chancellor of the Institution, Prof. Sola Fajana, who was speaking at the pre-convocation press briefing on Monday, 23 students will graduate with First Class Honours degree.

    Giving a breakdown of the results, Fajana said 222 student bagged Second Class Honours (upper Division) while 244 other made Second Class (Lower Division). A further 55 students got Third class honours.

    He disclosed that 17 students will be awarded Masters Degree at the post graduate level while post-graduate diploma will be awarded to five students.

    Fajana however noted that the President of the Christ Apostolic Church Pastor Abraham Akinosun will on that day, be conferred with Honorary Degrees in recognition of his contributions to youth development and education.

    The VC announced the commencement of Mobile learning in the University’s educational system.

    He however urged students to watch out for it.
